The ingredients you will need for this dish are:

1 pound potatoes

1 cup cottage cheese

1 egg

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon butter

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro



First, make the koftas by mixing together grated paneer, boiled potatoes, cornflour, green chillies, and salt. Shape into small balls, and then deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown. Next, make the sauce by cooking onions, ginger, and garlic in oil until softened. Add canned tomatoes, cream, and a variety of spices such as garam masala, cumin, and coriander. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.


To make the dumplings, boil the potatoes in water until they are soft. Mash them and mix in the cottage cheese, egg, flour, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Shape into approximately 20 dumplings.
