  • 1 cup grated paneer
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons oil for frying

Instructions

1. To make the paneer, mix together all the ingredients except oil in a bowl.

2. Heat oil in a pan and drop spoonfuls of the batter into it.

3. Fry the batter until it is golden brown in color.

4. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel.

5. To make the sauce, heat oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic and onion.

6. Add salt, sugar, white pepper powder, soy sauce, tomato ketchup and water.

7. Bring the mixture to a boil and then add cornstarch to it.

8. Add the fried paneer balls and green onion and cook for a few more minutes.

9. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
