How to make Schezwan Sauce?

Schezwan sauce is a popular Indo-Chinese condiment made with a blend of chili peppers, garlic, ginger, and other spices. It is typically used as a dipping sauce or to add flavor to stir-fries.

Schezwan sauce is not typically made at home, but it is easy to find in most Asian grocery stores. If you cannot find it, you can substitute it with another chili garlic sauce or even Sriracha sauce.

To make schezwan sauce, simply combine all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. You may need to add a little water to get the desired consistency.

Once the sauce is smooth, transfer it to a clean jar or container and store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Schezwan sauce is best used as a dipping sauce or to add flavor to stir-fries. It can also be used as a marinade for meats or as a condiment for sandwiches and wraps.

If you are looking for a vegan or gluten-free option, you can substitute the soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos.
