As a chef, I always start by grating my zucchini and squeezing out the water. This helps to get rid of any excess water that may be in the vegetables, and also helps to keep the burgers from becoming too wet.

Once the zucchini is grated, I combine it with all of the other ingredients in a large bowl and stir until everything is evenly mixed. I then make four individual patties that are all the same thickness. Once the patties are made, I heat up some olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and add the burgers.

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup diced onion

1/4 cup diced green bell pepper

1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 egg, beaten

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 hamburger buns

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix together ground chicken, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

2. Stir in cheddar cheese, onion, green bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, bread crumbs, and egg. Mix well.

3. Shape mixture into 4 patties.

4. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.

5. Cook patties for about 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

6. Serve on hamburger buns.
