2. Capsicum (green bell pepper) – 1

3. Onion – 1

4. Tomato – 1

5. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon

6. Cumin powder (jeera powder) – 1/2 teaspoon

7. Coriander powder (dhania powder) – 1/2 teaspoon

8. Garam masala powder – 1/4 teaspoon

9. Red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon or to taste

10. Turmeric powder (Haldi) – 1/4 teaspoon

11. Salt – to taste

12. Oil or butter – 1 tablespoon

13. Fresh cilantro leaves (dhania patta) – for garnish


1. First cut the paneer into small cubes. You can use store-bought paneer or make your own fresh paneer at home. If using homemade paneer, then make sure it is not too soft.

2. Cut the capsicum, onion and tomato into small cubes.

3. Heat oil or butter in a tawa or pan.
